Then on the flip side, I've gone through busy/stressful periods in my relationship when we've not had sex for months on end, and I'm horny af particularly when ovulating, and have to keep a hold of myself so I'm not pleading and pestering for sex (I'm female, so it's my spouse so no gender dynamics making things trickier). And then when you have that apple when you're actually good and hungry, it's delicious.
